Course Description:
The overall goal of this course is to ensure participants are familiar with ventilation provisions found in the Florida Building Code volumes as they apply to residential dwellings, to improve the likelihood that buildings are constructed in accordance with the building code.

This course will be presented as an instructor led lecture using electronic media including slides.
Method of Evaluation:
The evaluation will be conducted through a written response on course objectives described above.

Students will receive a course and instructor evaluation sheet that will be reviewed by the provider and used to adjust the course accordingly to meet the needs of future students.
Qualification of Instructor
Per CILB Board Approved Criteria Initial instructors include Arlene Stewart, Lauren Westmoreland, and Ruen Beane. Additional Instructors can be added that is familiar with the materials being presented. Experience in an adult learning environment is essential as well as familiarity with the course materials. Instructors will be state certified General or Building Contractor; state certified Building Official, Plans Examiner, or Inspector; Architect; Engineer; or a person holding a four year college degree that is familiar with building codes.
